At BizzBuzz, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our omni-channel support and CRM services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as data gathered from the communication channels you connect to BizzBuzz. This includes:

  • Account Data: Name, contact information (email address, phone number), and billing details.
  • Unified Contacts (The Conversation OS): Information processed on your behalf across all connected channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, SMS, Web Chat, and Email), including chat histories, physical device characteristics (screen resolution, timezone, language, User-Agent), and social media profile metadata.
  • Usage Data: How you interact with our admin dashboard and services.

2. How We Use and Process Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate our platform, including:

  • Unifying customer profiles across multiple messaging channels.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): We use AI models to process communications. This includes intent detection, sentiment analysis, lead scoring, and generating automated responses (AI Copilot/Agents) to assist your customer support efforts.
  • Processing transactions, sending newsletters, and managing marketing broadcasts (Email/WhatsApp).
  • Providing technical support and improving our services.

3. Information Sharing and Integration Partners

To provide our omni-channel services, we must share data with integration partners. This includes:

  • Messaging Providers: Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), Twilio (SMS), and email service providers to route messages correctly.
  • AI Providers: Secure, isolated processing of message content to enable intent recognition and automated replies.

4. Google User Data

You can connect Google services to BizzBuzz. We request only the access each feature needs, and you can disconnect at any time.

Google Calendar

When an administrator connects a Google Calendar to something customers book (for example a consultant, a branch or a room), we request:

  • Your Google account's email address (openid, email): to show which account is connected.
  • Your calendar list (calendar.calendarlist.readonly): so you can choose which calendar belongs to what is being booked. We read only calendar names, IDs and time zones.
  • Events on the calendar you choose (calendar.events): we read only the start and end time, status and free/busy setting of events, so customers can't book times when you are busy. We never request or store event titles, descriptions, locations or attendee lists; we store only the busy time ranges and event IDs. When a customer books, we add an event for the booking to that calendar (with the customer's name, the service, their phone number and email, and a link to the booking), update it when the booking is approved or moved, and delete it when the booking is declined or cancelled. We add no attendees, so Google sends no invitations.

Google Business Profile

When you connect a Google Business Profile (business.manage), we read your locations, reviews and customer questions so you can manage them in BizzBuzz, and we publish the replies and answers you approve or set BizzBuzz to post automatically. Review and question text is sent to our AI provider to draft those replies.

How we store, share and delete Google user data

  • Access tokens and the data above are stored encrypted at rest, separately for each organization, and are used only to provide these features to you.
  • We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the AI provider named above for drafting Business Profile replies, or where the law requires it.
  • We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
  • Our staff do not read Google user data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
  • Disconnecting a calendar in BizzBuzz deletes the busy times we stored for it; once no other booking resource uses that Google account, we delete its tokens and revoke our access with Google. Booking events already on your calendar stay there for you to keep or delete. You can also remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and ask us to delete any remaining Google data at privacy@bizzbuzz.io.

BizzBuzz's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including AES-256 encryption at rest and isolated data segments per organization. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page or providing direct notification within the app for significant changes.
